former food scientist, line cook, barista, and farmhand.
I'm fixated on the texture of food and culture, especially when old meets new.
I'm Tamilian and Texan. I studied bioengineering + design at MIT; I'm currently pursuing my MA in Food Studies at NYU. My work has appeared in Cake Zine, The Kitchn, Boston Chefs, and is forthcoming in Edible Brooklyn.
